Information for
prospective graduate students

Cognitive Development Lab provides students with a variety of opportunities and resources: You can work on a variety of research projects that are currently under way in the lab, or you can develop your own project within the scope of the lab’s interests. You will have access to children and adolescents in local preschools and schools as well as to adult populations. You will have access to research equipment and computers currently used in the lab. You will have an opportunity to interact with a sizable group of graduate students and postdocs. You can collaborate with other researchers in the Cognitive Development community, including the Primate Cognition Center directed by Dr. Sally Boysen. Depending on your research interests and prior training, you can get a degree in Developmental Psychology, Psychological Studies in Education, or in Education. You can also get a minor in Cognitive Science.
